Brazil conquers new meat exportation market

After negotiations run up by the Agriculture and Livestock Ministry (MAPA) joined by Singapure Food Agancy (SFA), Brazil conquered a new agricultural products market.


With adjustment proposals at the International Sanitary Certificate (CSI), brazilian estabilishiments are already enabled for bovine meat and processed swine meat exportation.


“It is another important conquest for the brazilian agricutltural and livestock markets, because we have extended our comercial trades with a significant market and are outflowing higher added valued products”, said the Agricultural and Livestock Minister, Carlos Fávaro.


According to the Development, Industry, Commerce and Services Ministry (MDIC), Singapore_ was the seventh brazilian exportation destiny in 2022. Meat based products are the second main group of exported for the country, representing 7% of total exportations (4% being bird origin products, 2% swines and 1% bovine). Last year, the exports to Singapore achieved a record volume and got to US$ 8,3 billion.


There are allowed bovine meat and processed swine meat to be exported, not undergone a commercial esterilization, after the belief for the estabilishiment by SFA. Now, there are 26 open markets for different products  from brazilian agricultural and livestock market, Only in this year.
