Process Development and Technology Division for Agroindustry.
The Brazilian Agribusiness today should be regarded as the integration of the Primary and the Agroindustry sectors that are respectively responsible for production of commodities and for the transformation of this raw material into products that represent more than 20% of the Brazilian GDP. In reference to the Balance of Payment the wealth generated by the agribusiness has more than doubled in the past seven years.
This growth is the result of diverse favorable conditions such as political and economical stability, soil fertility and steady rain coupled with a higher professional level of business management and the technical development in the sector. Today a productive unit of the primary sector is viewed as a wealth generating business, a very different perspective than that of years ago.
The agroindustry must also be seen as a wealth generating business and managed as such. The fast expansion in business and volume has not produced, except for a few initiatives, an adequate effort to place it among the best and most developed business in the world. We notice that research and development of industrial processes is limited to a few scientists in universities or research institutes without a connection to the industry which would most benefit from their work.
Recognizing the need Scot Consultoria has created the process development and technology division for agroindustry. Here is what we do:
a. Mission: Work with the customer in search of business opportunities or performance improvement.
b. Customers: The focus is the Agribusiness industrial production sector as a whole, with emphasis on sugar and ethanol, meat, dairy and derivatives.
c. Services: We commit to help our customers identify new business opportunities or to improve existing processes such as industrial process optimization, operational costs reduction, technological development management, implementation of alimentary security guarantee process (HHCCP), fostering integration between company and scientific community.
